Prior to working at Compass Joe spent 28 years working in law enforcement. He was selected as Officer of the Year on several occasions and was once named Employee of the Year for the City of Oceanside.  He retired from the Oceanside Police Department where he managed the Harbor Division. Joe served as President of the California Association of Harbor Masters and Port Captains. Joe has attended Compass since it began in 2005. He has been involved in several ministries including Men’s Bible Study, Parking, AWANA, Partners, and Gatekeepers. He enjoys mountain biking in his spare time.
